ok. i guess i should give a brief recount of what happened before i start venting. i was at home using the com then suddenly the doorbell behind me rang and somone knocked on the door. happily thinking that its my mum, i opened the door then stared stunned as two middle aged ladies stand in front of me. i thought they were some visitors looking for my mum or grandma or sth then one of them started asking me what do u think abt the current problem of recession, changes in climate etc. then link to bible then start telling me abt God. Well...
Let me tell u what i really think. I do believe in heaven, in god. but of no specific religion. no ONE religion. I didnt know that Christanity is going so far as to doing door-to-door sales. LOL. ok i meant no offense. its jst too exaggerated. probably its quite right when some ppl told me "Christians want everyone to convert to their religion'. (or probably they are promoting Catholism)
Seriously i dont know whoever is running one part of this Christian population which allows or rather encourages or makes use of ur people's belief (willingly) to disrupt or harrass people who are NOT of ur religion to believe in what u believe. i wonder whats ur purpose behind it. Have u even asked ur God if he(it) wants the whole world to believe in him, whether he wants to interrupt the lives of people just because they dont pray to him everyday? God being a greater being, i believe, is more forgiving and not so petty and do not really ask for the faith of everyone or the reward of belief from everyone. cos i believe god of all kinds are wei3 da4 and wu2 si1 and therefore do things for the good of everyone not for the faith.
You are saying that the bible assures a beautiful world beautiful future. You are saying that God being the creator of heaven and earth can make everything right again, make reparations to illdeeds and unpredictabilities of human. So i guess in the end u are asking me to convert (or rather i was a freethinker) to Christianity (or Catholic) or maybe some other religion u are representing cos God can make the world right? I guess if God is god, deities are deities, fairies are fairies, then they wouldnt mind so much how many people believe in them at all, if they had the rights, the methods, to repair this world. They will do it no matter what because i believe they do it for the good of the world, not only for those who believe in them.
I dont plunge solid in any religion cos i think and i know that i cant possibly agree with every rule or philosophy of a religion, every religious practice. therefore i choose to have my own believes.
meanwhile, this is not meant to insult or offend any person or religion. It is merely some personal thoughts. I truly believe everyone have the rights to their thoughts and i pay my respect to all religions. But i guess we have to remember, obsession in anything can be disastrous.
